JCS271Set your DVR's, Safari Rifle Challenge is on TV!
I just received word that the 2014 Safari Rifle Challenge is confirmed to air this Wednesday night, Jan 21st on the Outdoor Channel. As most of you know, the tv show "Shooting Gallery" was in attendance. They filmed Outdoor Life magazine editor John Snow (and some of you) shooting the various stages. They also filmed interviews and product profiles with many of the vendors that were there.
I appreciate all of the support that I have received from each of you and I hope to see you at shoot #5 on Sunday July 12, 2015.
P.S. The Libby Rod & Gun Club is in active negotiations with the National Forest Service to GREATLY expand our facilities. It is our intent to make the Lincoln County Shooting Sports Complex a destination range for all of the shooting disciplines. Things are looking good!
Here is a little teaser....

SnellstromThanks for the update and I got your emailed video teaser as well!
I am not a cable, direct or dish user so I'm scrambling trying to find a way to watch it.
Thanks again for the update.

JCS271I think it went well, there were certainly things that I would have liked to see, like your interview and some video of those big AHR's that you brought to the shoot. They spent a little to much time talking about 45-70's but that was just my observation. I think the average guy sitting at home would have been well entertained. I have received 9 requests for applications just today if that is any indication.

4-5-0I enjoyed watching it. Shooters were obviously having fun vs. the typical clenched teeth, white knuckle tactical stuff we see so much of. Might even decide to shake the dust off my sandals and go some day.

lee440I can tell you first hand that this was truly a World Class Shoot! Jay and all involved, worked tirelessly to organize and execute the most fun Big Bore event that I have ever attended. Well thought out evolutions and great lifelike targets made for some exciting shooting! Beautiful surroundings and exceedingly friendly folks make this shoot a must for Big Bore fans! I will do my best to make it again this year!
