Hey guys, i am most likely going to join the big bore club with my first. A Ruger #3 in .45-70. This should prove to be a great hunting rifle, with a great cartridge for my uses. I am a handloader. Yes, i am going to get the first decent recoil pad I can find. While on the topic of recoil pads for a #3, what do you guys have on yours? I know one other guy has a #3.
