I'm looking for a good load with H4831 and the 370 northfork bullet

MHC_TX
416 Rigby
370gr Northfork Soft
104grs H-4831sc
slight roll crimp
Velocity = 2464fps
24 inch barrel

gives me 1 hole groups at 50yds

I started at 103 grains and worked up in 1/2 grain increments.

Used this load to thump several buffalo and lion.

Yep, that is a good load. thumb

I started at 105 grains of H4831 Long Cut and stuck with it for all bullets of 380 to 410 grains.
0.140 MOA for three shots, at 2509 fps with the GSC 380-grain FN, 100 yards or 100 meters.
Federal GM215M primer, Norma brass.
Hornady brass is great too.
Can't go wrong with either.

John Buhmiller tipped off Jack O'Connor on 105 grains of H4831. Use the same charge with H4831 SC. Extremely accurate in the .416 Rigby.

Well, I loaded some up starting at 104gr and going up in 1/2 grain increments. I'll see how they shoot in another week.
