375HHGS or Woodleigh
What bullet should I choose according to accuracy?
I have very god accury with Hornady 300gr RN in my 375H&H. (0.67” 100m)
Now I am going to choose a premium bullet. I consider GC Bullets or Woodleig.
Which bullet would likely have the same POI than the Hornadys?
And which bullet is the most accurate?
If Woodleig would you prefer the PP or the RN
Regard
Johan

<BigBores>Try the Noslers or the Woodleigh RN's. Both shoot well for me. I lean toward the Noslers as they are more readily availible to me here. I'm not sure about bullet availibility for you in Sweden? Might make the price higher through customs? I haven't yet tried the GS's. I've heard from members here that currently they seem to be having trouble getting shipments out of country from (I believe) customs problems, through no fault of Gerard's company I'm told. If you order GS's, make sure you order them 6 months or more before you need them, just to make sure they arrive in time. I really liked GS's customer service, great responses to questions about their bullets, sure hope they can find a way to "supply" us here a little smoother, like say a US distributor?

SlingsterWhen developing 300-grain loads for the .376 Steyr cartridge, I got very similar velocities and accuracy and only a small shift in point of impact going from the Hornady 300-grain RNSP to the Woodleigh SP Protected Point. The Woodleigh RNSP deviated only a little bit more from the Hornadys than the SPPPs, so I wouldn't have a problem using them as well, but the protected point feature tipped me toward that bullet.

500grainsI ordered GS's in early December 2001 and have not seen hide nor hair nor copper dust of my order. Nor can I get responses from GS at this stage. Consider your GS order a gift to the people of RSA, and if you receive your bullets then consider that a gift from heaven.
However, the best of the bestest big bore accuracy I have gotten has been with GS bullets - 3 shots touching at 100 repeatedly.
I have done almost as well with Woodleigh soft nose and Trophy Bonded Sledgehammer.
I have not gotten as good accuracy from Barnes solids, but they were just fine. For some reason, I have done much better getting reasonably accurate loads with Barnes solids than with Barnes X.

WachtelI have four packs of GS Custom HV bullets on my desk right now. Two with 110 gr .264 destined fo my 6,5 Swede and two with the 265 gr .375:s for my 375H&H. I got speedy replies from both Gina and Gerard when I confirmed the arrival of the packet.
I also had a long wait (feb-aug) but I get the impression on the forum that things are starting to happen to those old orders.
I hope your order will arrive soon 500gr!
