CZ 458 Lott, Kevlar
Has anybody handled one of the new Kevlar stocks and are they trimmer than the walnut?

Rip,

Thanks a bunch. I don't like the fat grip on my CZ in 416 Rigby and am thinking about replacing it with the synthetic. Your pics and description helped a lot. Also considering a future Lott purchase.

Thanks again.

You can go through CZ or I think you can order one from Bell and Carlson direct. They appear to be well made, but I haven't had one personally.

FYI,

I called Bell & Carlson and they acknowledged that they are making stocks for CZ, but, by agreement, cannot offer them for sale. Must buy them from CZ. I don't object to buying one from CZ but wanted a different color.

Good info to know on purchasing the stock. If you get one in black, they can be refinished. Brownells offers some sturdy finishes for synthetic stock that you can do at home.
