CZ news

To whom it may concern: I just got an info from CZ that they will market a new rifle line with a changed stock design.

No details are given, but since some people complained about their stocks to them directly ( martin ), and I sent them mails and url of some interesting threads at accuratereloading, they should know now what the problem is.

Hope it turns out a fine classic stock.

What threads did you send them (cracking stock threads??. Will they offer a synthetic stock??? When are these new rifles available???.

These stocks - sans rifles - will be available first through Frankonia of Germany. If I get to know more I will post it.

interesting!
I have ordered a rifle with the current standard stock now. Being on the tall side, I may eventually go for a custom stock anyway.

Definately keep us informed.
It seems funny to me that CZ doesnt offer an 'American' style stock in the 550 Mag line. As far as I can tell, that is the only complaint I've heard. (except possibly the saftey being a 2 way and not a 3 way)

Sounds interesting, when I recently bought my CZ I chose the straight stock without having seen any but the "hump-backs". This stock has a fairly straight stock and it feels good but I will re-stock it anyway to get a better wood and the style I like.
