Federal adds Woodleigh Hydroshock solids to its line up
This may be old news to some of you but I see today that Federal now loads Woodleigh Hydros in several calibers including 500 Nitro, 470, 375 H&H and 9.3X62. They are using the polymer tiped variant to increase feeding reliability in bolt guns.

This now provides the 9.3x62 with a suitable big game factor produced round along with the Swift A Frame.
That is providing they feed in your rifle.

I've been using the non tipped version and found they have fed fine in Ruger 338WM, Remington 798 in 458WM, Winchester M70 in 9.3X62 and my Winchester M70 in 416RM.

Love 'em....

Cheers,
Mark.

I figured they must as why else would Federal market them.
I on the other hand have had no luck in my M98s. Blaser, no problem.

Feed and function is a good reason for "tweaking", something I do with every gun I own..I would rather have a 30-30 that works than a 458 that jams when hunting DG..

I am confident the Woodleighs feen and function in a proper rifle but if they don't you should tweak the rifle or use another brand of bullet.
