Plinker loads for a 375 Ruger
Anyone have any suggestions?

I've done some deer loads for the 375 H&H using Hornady's 225 gr spitzer. Or you could try the 220 gr flatpoints meant for the 375 Winchester.

I have been shooting some 200 gr SPeers using H4895, using the H4895 60% rule.

Not sure of my exact load here at work, I've only shot them a few times.

I've been using a lot of the cast bullets for the .38-55 and .375 Win in my .375H&H. Problem is, if you have kids or grandkids, they go through them like m&ms. Use any of the slower shotshell powders. I'm using some old Herco that I no longer need. About 18gr of this gives a satisfying boom and lets you work on your bolt activation exercises. Work up until you have a load that gives you the recoil you want. You could also go to 4227 for .45-70 (oops, did I say a bad word?) velocities and power.
