gumboot458Lott Blastin ammo.
Went to the range today with a friend ......He was trying out some different powder in his 06.... I was just plinking ,,100 meter,,,, mostly off hand with my CZ Lott. the 350 gr Berry,s plated round shouldered bullet, that I moly coated hit pretty close to the factory 500 gr Hornady, if I raise the 300 yrd leaf ...I had 82 gr H4895 in them and I think the powder cost more than the bullets...... ALOT funner to shoot also..

Hog Killergumboot458, the Remmy 405gr is my go to plinker bullet. I load it over 68.0gr of IMR-4895 (3.53" oal) get 2112fps from my 24" barrel. Real fun load to plink with and work great on hogs too.

driverHello,
Can say that Hog Killer's data sure works well in my Ruger RSM for plinking rounds and I have sped my loads up fair amount and find the combo very accurate be they slow or fast. That Rem. 458/405 is a good value for practice rounds.
With that thin jacket and cranked up to some 2700 fps it would act as a bomb on deer or thin skinned critters I believe.

Hog Killerdriver, @ 2700fpds, it would be a bomb on a rabbit.
