They do not import them anymore. The 450's are rare I think only 10 or 15 were imported in the States.

Well that sucks. Charlie Sisk does make them, but two choices would have been nice.

Try Bill Wiseman in College Station he makes a cool looking 450 marlin. It has a detach 4 or 5 round mag and is built on a M70 short action.

I'm trying to get 45 blaser brass. This would be a 450 marlin in a R93. I think it would be alot of fun.

According to some contact information I just had with folks in Austria, the Steyrs will be coming back as soon as the new owner of the company gets organized. Maybe we will see some of these .450 Marlin Steyrs yet, albeit at big prices.
