I have been looking for some new Remington brass and several places do not even list it anymore. What's the deal with 416 rem Mag brass? I can find 470 & 500ne brass easier.

Remington makes the 416 rem mag in lots every few years.I bought up 8,000 pcs so I would have a life time supply.Its good brass just a pain when you cant find it.

Nope i bought 8,000 pcs of 416 rem mag brass when the getting was good.I wish I had bought more nickel plated 416.I bought 2 cases.It was $138 per 500 on clearence back 10 years ago.I got lots of 410 gr woodleighs and 400 gr barnes solids also.Now you cant find the Federal 215 mag rifle primers.I use to shoot my 416s 150 times a day.I have not shot my 416s in a while but still like to load 300 on my dillion 550 every once in a while.You never know when they might bring mastadons back.I use to get two cases of 500 a month when it was way cheaper.I heard Remington was quiting making the 416 Rem mag brass so I stocked up!!!!

At one time I had 7 416 Rem mags.I had three Winchester Model 70s ,3 Remington model 700 and a Sako.I still have one Winchester model 70 and two Remington Model 700s.Its an awesome caliber.I am thinking of getting a 416 ruger also!!!

Dgr416, I have lots of primers if you wanta work a trade on some brass. PM if interested. Also, how many rounds does it take to shoot out a 416 barrel? What kind of cleaning program did you do with your volume of shooting?

If you need 416Rem brass, look in the classifieds at the 416Rem for sale. He's also selling brass.
