IndlovuBest after market stock for CZ 550 mag?
MY next project is on the way: planning a 500 A2. I am going to use a CZ550 mag action 416 rigby boltface, because the Montana PH wont be available to me till next fall, and a Rock River barrel with a Vais removable brake.
Whats the best stock in your opinion? I am thinking a Brockman laminate, he does a beautiful job on those, and the cost is reasonabl;e, since I plan to inlet it and finish it my self. Any other options? I think a Mcmillan might be too light, and the walnut customs are too pricey. I would like to keep the price below a couple of grand, because a 500 jeffrey by CZ is available for $1950; of course, that will need work, and I need a long throat so I can use 50 BMG type bullets.
Any advice appreciated!

IndlovuBeautiful stock, GG375, but probably would blow my budget; cost you a couple of grand, right? who made it?

GG375That bull is about as far removed from Elsie and/or the neighbours cow as it could be. That gentlemen, is a wild Cape York scrub bull.
Yeah, you're right Indlovu, its a good couple of grands worth and really isn't what you asked for but I couldn't resist - sorry. Have a Merry Xmas.
Cheers.
