I fondled one at the NRA meeting this year. Typically excellent Sako build quality and fit. The synthetic stock, whoever designed it, is very nice and fits well. Standard open sights are a plus. I can't remember what the rep said retail would be, $1300 seems to ring a bell.

The only problem is they're not making them in LH! Big Grin

American Rifleman TV had one on last night, looked very nice

wonder how their controlled feed bolt compares to the Mauser's

the recoil lug is also pretty radical

I have the Sako 75 in 375 H&H and that is very accurate. At 150 yds it will shoot a 3/4 " group off the bench

Man , a sako ,in .375 for 1300, would be a great deal. And a stubby barrel like thaty would be an Ideal alaskan rig.
When you say barrel band, I asume thast is the swivel ?
If you can really get one for 1300, it would be one of the best buys on the market.
I am still a bit dissaponted that FN Winchester does,nt show one in the 09 catalog...tj3006

I was fondling a sako in 375 today at a local shop. they wanted 1100 for it.It had a manlicher stock, and a bunch of white diamond inlays along the bottom and sides.I don't know if I liked the way it looked.
