<mikeh416Rigby>I've been watching FOX News a lot lately, and this morning they had a story on about Camp Ground Zero. Supposedly it's a para-military style training camp located in either Alabama whose members are either Muslim, or Al-Queda members or sympathizers. They interviewed the guy who owns the camp, and he denied any Muslim or Al-Queda connections, saying that the only people who train there are police and law enforcement officers. He did say that a lot of them are foreigners. The FBI has executed a search warrant for the facility.

<eldeguello>Not until today. And it sounds like Fox News can't quite figure out what it is.....or, at least, they can't categorize it.

<JS_280>Camp Ground Zero USA is a police, counter-terrorism and VIP protection training facility. Never been there, but it's located in Marion, AL where my girlfriend attends college. Just my personal opinion, but I think the anti-gun media has managed to put a negative slant on, in all probibility, a respectable training facility. As a matter of fact, I saw a criticism of the nationaly know Gunsite Academy (yes, the one started by Col. Jeff Cooper), saying that because they were teaching precision rifle tactics, they were helping people like the "Beltway Sniper" become more proficient killers. It's all a bunch of trash to me. The media lost my respect a long time ago. By the way, here's the website

<eldeguello>Then obviously it's not a "militia/terrorist" training facility. You'd think FNC would get it right, even if the other news outfits are out to put their own spin on everything.....
