.50 Beowulf case specs
doean any body have or could they get the .50 Beowulf case specs? depending on the specs this could be a great case to wildcat on

Rock, here are the specs you requested:

Case length: 1.650"
Base OD: 0.539"
Neck OD: 0.525"
Rim OD: 0.445"
Rim thickness: 0.052"
Shoulder angle: 0 deg
Case Capacity: 72 gr +/-

It is essentially a lengthened 50 AE. I think necked down to 9mm it would make an AWESOME round. If necked to .308" it would easily duplicate the 308 Win round!

Depending on the application, you might find that the .458 SOCOM case is better to wildcat on, since it has a standard .473" rim.

HI,

I agree with AXEL, this is one hell of a round and I am going to get one of these bad boys soon.I have many AR mags that can be used for this and I will just buy the whole rifle form Alexander Arms.It is like a semi-auto 4570, but with a bigger hole great up to 200 yards. Thanks,Kev
