Has anyone loaded the NF flat point solid, 300 gr in 375HH if so what are you loading. Also has anyone used the 300 gr soft on cape buffalo?

All I have are some dummy rounds loaded by Superior Ammo. Hopefully someone can give you the scoop for loading your own.

1. I have loaded the NF cup point solid (same as FPS but with a little cavity to promote mild expanstion). Data via PM.

2. I have used the NF cup point solid and NF lead core soft and both work great. The cup point expands just a bit and then penetrates very, very deep. The lead core soft provides more of a traditional mushroom but retains almost all of its weight and does not peel back as far as other brands. It also goes deep, but leaves a bigger wound channel.

I shot some this last weekend through a chrony. I used 65.5 grs of H4895, Fed. 215 primers, WW brass. Average vel 2501 fps, with a high of 2533 and a low of 2370. All ten shots were within a 2" group at 75 yrds.
They were shot in a Win M70 stainless with a 22" bbl.
