Has Anyone Seen Colt-Sauer Actions Come Up For SALE
I have always been enamored by the Colt-Sauer actions and their smoothness.
Would love to one day build a rifle built on one of those actions. Buying a compelete rifle just seems to be a bit pricey.

They (complete rifles) turn up on GunBroker from time to time, but I've never seen an action for sale.

There are no shortage of good push-feed actions; my favorite is the old Sako AV.

With careful shopping you can buy the whole gun in slightly beat up condition for less than you'd probably have to pay for an action.

When considering US based operations of guides/outfitters, check and see if they are NRA members. If not, why support someone who doesn't support us? Consider spending your money elsewhere.

I have come to understand that in hunting, the goal is not the goal but the process.

If I recall, those guns had a cam actuated locking lugs that locked into the receiver at the rear of the action. When you lifted the bolt handle the bolt lugs folded flush with the bolt body.
This may be my immigination but I do recall that I was suspect of this action with a large cartridge.
They were as smooth as silk.
