$650-$800 is what I would consider. However I have seen a few whitworths bust a grand here lately. People want them.

That was a good deal if it was righteous. I would have thought $650 area for a correct original specimen but prices seem to have moved up lately.

Don't know about current M70s but I have 375s in a pre-64 and a Whitworth. The M70 is a little slicker, seems to cycle easier, the Whitworth is lighter, easier to carry, points faster, both very accurate, either are good choices.
