There may be a little rust on the bolt release, although from the photograph I could be mistaken.

$650-$800 is what I would consider. However I have seen a few whitworths bust a grand here lately. People want them.

I am kicking my self! I had a chance a few months back at a gun show to pick one of these up for $458. Should have done it.

That was a good deal if it was righteous. I would have thought $650 area for a correct original specimen but prices seem to have moved up lately.

I have never handled a whitworth. How do they compare to the M70's? Thanks,KP

Don't know about current M70s but I have 375s in a pre-64 and a Whitworth. The M70 is a little slicker, seems to cycle easier, the Whitworth is lighter, easier to carry, points faster, both very accurate, either are good choices.
