Thanks!
Some specifics from reliable sources:
In inches: 510 Wells/500 A-Square
Case length: 2.88/2.900
Head diam.: .582/.582
Rim diam.: .582/.579
Neck diam.: .534/.537
Neck length: .430/.393
Shoulder length: .110/.022
Loaded length: 3.644/3.740
Belt diam.: .603/.603
Rim thickness: .062/.063
Shoulder diam.: .560/.568
Length to shoulder: 2.340/2.485
And the shoulder angles:510W/500A2
(degrees/side): 6.74/35.0
The 510 Wells has a case capacity of 147.37 grains of water. The 500 A-Square has got to be over 150 grains of water (barely), but I do not know the exact number. The 500 A2 is just a little bit bigger.
Other similar rounds would include the 50 Buhmiller (.510" bullet), the 505 Barnes Supreme (.505" bullet), and the 50 Peacekeeper (.510" bullet).
Also, I must not forget to mention the 510 JAB, another of the 510/460 Weatherby Long's. This is the 510/460 Weatherby Improved Jenkins and Berry.

I believe I have the free use of a 510 Wells reamer, however of the 460 based 510s you mentioned do any have an advantage as far as reamer, reloading die availability or anything else?
Also of the 510s is there somewhere I can rent a reamer?
Thanks
I am puzzled by the diferences in the following dimensions, as both rounds are based on the 460 wby, and absent turning the brass in a lathe, these dimensions should be identical:
Rim diam.: .582/.579
Rim thickness: .062/.063

500grains,
Bear Claw got it right. Of course they should be the same as the standard 460 Weatherby in those dimensions.
