Would you mind if the inside of the barrel do have some light spots from oxidation??
Is it possible to polish the inside of the barrel, so the inside looks like new?
Or does it play no role how the inside barrel looks as long as the precission is okay??
cheers
Konst
Hope that the seller gives me a good description and some pics too,...but in the auction he says , that the inside of the barrels do have some "little" rust spots.

Because im not used to this type of guns (i think every model has it goods and bads ), i think i will look for a gunsmith who realy know much about this type of gun and maybe especialy Francottes doubles..and let him take a deeper look on the gun as long as i can arrange it with the seller.
How much would you spend for such a gun??
Cheers
Konstantin
bye for now

vigillinusAny rifle nut ought to prefer a .450 Nitro Express to a .470. Case diameter is less so a trimmer rifle can be made ...... breeches don't have to be as wide. And there is a much wider bullet variety for handloaders.
