jetdrvrAnyone used the .375 H&H 350 Woodleigh PRP on buff?
Ray Atkinson swears by it. I'd like to hear opinions fom anyone else. I'm getting 2350 therabouts with RE 15 out of my 24" bbl. I'd like to upgrade to a .458 win, but the stars don't seem to be in alignment just yet, so I'm thinking of using the PRP for dugga boys. Opinions?

ozhunterAlthough I have not used this Bullet on Buffalo, I did work with ARs "Spartan" to set his 375H&H up with FMJs in this bullet.
Very good penetration that's for sure.
We used 74grns of AR2209 (h4350) for 2420fps.
Would be happy to use the soft and FMJs on Buffalo.

jetdrvrI'm going to try it next year on buff, I think. Someone on the 24 hr. Campfire called it the poor man's .416.

BlacktailerI used them on two buff in 2007. Here is the link to the report
http://forums.accuratereloadin...=753109247#753109247They worked well on buff and anything else they were used on. Wouldn't hesitate to use them again.
My load (from Ray) was 67gr RL15 gave 2375fps for PP and 2400 for the 350 solids from my M70 with far less than MOA accuracy. This was my max load but showed no signs of pressure in either the summer heat of Paso Robles or the spring heat of Tanzania.

Me too. I got my load from Ray and it's identical. I went to 67.5, but the 67 grain load shoots MOA amd I'm sticking with that. No pressure signs, also. I averaged 2350 in a five shot string. Thanks for the link.

McKayUsed a 350 wood PP on my second buffalo last year in Tanzania. Was a frontal chest shot at 70 yards. Dropped him where he stood.....I loaded them with RL15 to 2350.....

I like that sort of encouragement.
