For a Remington 11/87 slug gun with cantilever mount and rifled bore... what shoots best?

I don't have your model but every gun/shooter can have different performance however one thing is certain if the barrel is rifled than use a SABOT style slug, my 870 and A5 are deadly with any type sabot but big patterns with the old foster type

My testing shows you want to use sabots or
hardened full bore size heavier slugs.Ed

The ONLY way to get an answer to this is by shooting a bunch of different loads. What works well in one gun may be a real turkey in the next, and so on - in fact, it is LIKELY to be a turkey in the next one. Once you find THE ONE, buy a case of them, because the "same load" with a different lot number may not work, even!!
