Who makes Dakota brass?
Does anybody know who makes the Dakota brass?

I know they bought alot of brass from Lapua with their headstams on in: 20Tactical, 20vartag,218 fireball, and 20 PPC.

But what about their larger calibers?

I have a 330 Dakota and the brass is made by Norma. I get mine from Midway.

Nortman,
This has been variable over the years.

I heard A-Square used to make some.

I heard BELL/BeLL/MAST used to make some.

Then I heard Norma was making it.

Then Jamison International made the .404 Dakota brass: I verified this in person.

Now it appears that Lapua is making the .423 Dakota Lapua brass, and the smaller bores that you list.

Even if you show up at Dakota Arms in Sturgis, SD and ask the sales reps there, in person, you will likely come away confused, as I did.

Here at HA!/DOA, we utilize Lapua and Jamison brass, but have used some Quality Cartridge brass for the .470 Mbogo, and BeLL Basic .416 Rigby, now a thing of the past.
