making headway with new load for my 375
I've been trying a couple of different powders in my 375 H&H and am starting to get some decent results. I've been shooting 270gr TSX, may try 300 TSX and also NF's. I had tried RL15 gun hated that stuff best group I could get was about 1.25" for 3. Varget was more promising getting a couple goups with 2 touching and 1 opening it to about 1". VV N160 gave decent results giving nice triangular groups around .75 on occasion but usually about 1" not bad but I really didn't like how compressed that load was. Today I tried VV N550 this is much more promising load is not compressed but got groups with 70.0 gr measuring .580" and at 74.5 that measured .900 with the one slightly high and rightbeing my own fault as I wasn't holding everything down and let the rifle torque on that round which was the first in that string. I'm going to load some additional rounds of each of those charges to compare them with multiple groups and then see what the velocity of the best group is doing.

Yes it's cocked, and it has bullets too!!!

Sounds like fun! And don't forget IMR 4064, guns that like it, like it a lot!

Consider W760/H414 for 300gr loads also.

My .375H&H rifles thrive on W760 and IMR4064, with non-Barnes bullets.

Mine loves IMR4350 and IMR4064 with 260 & 300 grain bullets.
