If we are just building a "basic set" of hunt anywhere guns, a .338 Wim Mag is redundant if one has a .375 H&H and a .17 HRM is redundant if you have a .204 Ruger and a .22 LR.

In my case the .338 WM is not redundant because I mostly shoot 225 grain bullets and if I want to approximate the .300 WM I can always load up some 210's. The .17 HRM is in there because I already have one and it is much cheaper to shoot than a .204 Ruger.

In any event I can get by with this minimum # of rifles.

My REAL "wish list" would probably fill up 2 pages of this forum and far exceeds my available money supply.
