It's always good news to see Woodleigh bringing out new bullets! Now if we could just convince Geoff to bring out a 270-275 gr Woodleigh round nose in .358 caliber!!! Big Grin Cool

I wish they would follow my advice (!) like Hornady did and bring out semi-flat point solids (I believe I was the first on AR to suggest that Smiler), or what they could do to surpass Hornady is bring out real flat point solids for double (single shot) rifles only.

The Hornady's don't have much of a flat point on the 375 or 416 but is fairly good size (%) on the 458's. It is a needed compromise between a round nose and a real FP so that they will feed in bolt-actions.

I applaud Hornady for giving a shot at FPS and hopefully the concensus of field reports will
suggest better straight line penentration.

Midway is actually listing some of them in stock too.

Has anybody done any load development for the 450 grain 404 jeffery? Hey what can I say, I'm an estimator, I'm always hoping somebody has good data I can use for myself!!
