What's the rim diameter of the .405 Winchester?
And and if you have a cartridge dimension drawing you could post or email I'd appreciate it.

There is a case drawing at:

www.reloadbench.com (at least I think that is the sites addy)

My Hornady brass measures:

Rim OD - 0.5396"
Rim Thickness - 0.069" to 0.0702"
Base OD - 0.4531"
Neck OD (@case mouth) - 0.4304"
Case Length - 2.5692" (has been trimmed)
Internal volume in grains of water - 75.1 gr (avg of 20)

Interestingly, if you run a 0.413" expander through the case and then "neck" size the internal volume increases to 77.9 grains. This is a handy trick if you are shooting 400 gr bullets.
