Hey Marshall why cant you get 577 T-Rex Brass just talked to Jim Smith from A-Square a couple days ago and ordered some and a T-Rex. I believe that it was something like $70.50 for a wallet of 10.

Hello
My own idea and strictly a California cartridge. It is simply a rimless, shouldered 600 Nitro with a .600 diameter bullet (max for our state). Since I can't get 577 T Rex brass anyways I can have this made for the same price. Horneber is making the brass. I turn down Barnes .620 bullets which makes them 850 grs,and plan to shoot lead bullets too. Lead has been working great in my 505 Gibbs so should be fine for local hunting and cheaper practice. I hope to use my 606 on Elephant and Buffalo next fall. Thanks for noticing, Marshall Jones

Hey, did you ever get your brass you ordered from A Square? I have had brass on order with them for two years and haven't seen anything yet. I have talked to Art three times and was always assured they would have it out soon. The last time was about 6 months ago.

Does MAST Tech in NV. make this brass? did you folks try HUNTINGTON? What about the Aussy's? REDWILLOW? I've had a long wait in the past with A-SQUARE and then found the product to be sub-standard.

Thanks for the tip on the auction, I bid. I have a box of HH so that will go nicely with what I have. I also had Dave Casey make some but it is good only for light pressure loads. I am just down the road from Huntingtons and they don't have any T Rex brass, though they usually have anything you might want. I think A Square is KaPut or at least full of BS. I built my rifle because Art assured me they would supply components. The only thing I have gotten from them is big talk. When they start shipping I will believe it.
This is part of the reason I am building my own cartridge. If I have to order a bunch of Horneber brass anyway then it might as well be a wildcat. I should have my 606 brass this month.

Hey Marshall, Havent recieved anything yet I laughed when I read your post about having things on order for a long time etc. then I talked to my cousin who dealt with them in the past with the same results so I think a lesson learned. I havent gotten ahold of Mike since or anyone for that matter. Good luck with your new wildcat.
