I've been bitten again. Got a deal working on a Sako Mannlicher 375. Not sure why, but I've always loved those. I've got a Remington KS Mountain Rifle in 375 H&H, and a Guide Gun in 45-70. Getting it cheap because some dooofus had Bob & his other brother Bob Gunsmithing , Inc, ltd., Etc., port it and they missed. Looks like a Magnaport, but the two lower ports are tooo low and either in or on the stock. Yup, blew out two little chips in the stock with the first shot. I'll do something to pretty it up, or not. And I'm guessing it won't do anything either of the others will, but I still want it.
Someone try to talk some reason into me.

Sounds like shortening the barrel or a rebarrel may be in order. Need to rid yourself of the "bobism."
