New Winchester mosel 70 express 375 h&h ?
I just got a new 375 H&H today and it loks well put together . I hope to shoot it this weekend. Anybody have any experience with these rifles good or bad? Any particular loading componets that work well with this round? I will try it on charging whitetails this season Wink Larger stuff (elk or other in the next couple of years).

I have one that I love, have shot a box and a half of shelsl through it so far, got the wrong rings for it that I have to send back and get different and am waiting for a new blade, can't load till I get a new press.

mine is well put together, shoots well and I have no complaints really for a factory gun. does yours have the one solid piece triggerguard or is it the 3 screw version?

I've got one. It looks good and shoots great after I removed the factory "bedding" and pillar bedded it. At 100 yds, it shoots a 5 shot group into single ragged hole with H4350 and Hornady RN soft points. I find it rther pleasant to shoot, recoil seem similar to my 338WM.

Mine both shoot and feed well. They also don't have much felt recoil for the caliber, which I attribute to the stock shape.

I really like them. Both were recent Lefty guns and had a trigger/safety recall (which was fairly painless), so you might call USRAC and check on yours.

I bought the lh model 70 about 3 months ago and put about 100 rds through it with no problems. The recoil is not bad at all and shoots very tight groups at one hundred yds. I really like this rifle

I've got one and one in .416 and have carried and shot them quite a bit in very dusty conditions with no prolems of any kind and both shoot VERY well. I've shot quite a few crows with the .375 and the open sights. The factory bedding isn't the greatest, so I will touch that up a bit.

I have a Safari Express in 375 H&H. I am very pleased with it. It has a Jeffeosso beding job!

I have a Safari Express in 375 H&H and it is the most accurate rifle I have ever owned, will shoot a variety of factory ammo in 300 grain under an inch at 100 yards. I had my gunsmith pilar and glass bed action and barrel channel, adjust trigger to about 3-4 lbs and had a ebony forend cap put on. Took it to Namibia and it functioned flawlessly.

Steve,

I bought a new model 70,lefty in 375, about 6 months ago. Havn't heard anything about a safety problem. What was the problem with your gun?
