George,

Are you asking them to build these rifles in the Custom Shop, or to include them in their production guns?

Jim,

We're really interested in production guns. The Custom Shop is always an option, but 'over-the-counter' would be best for most of us (it shouldn't cost $3000 for a .470 Capstick or .416 Remington).

I am currently looking for a left-hand CRF. In anything over .375, they START at 3000.00. Ridiculous. Why not offer at least the basic big bores in production rifles, those offered to the backwards majority, maybe with the special order option on the .500's and up. I bet you'll find the market exists. Come on Winchester, try something innovative and step up for Southpaws.

Put me on the list for a 458 Winnie.

I am definitely interested in a production model LH.

Specifically, I would like something like their Stainless Classic in Left Hand. Calibers:

1. 375 H&H

2. 375 RUM

3. 416 Rigby or Rem

4. 458 Lott

Med. bores like the 300 WSM or RUM, 338 Win. Mag or RUM would be a bonus. Depending on caliber, I would purchase 2, maybe 3 of this type of rifle.

The Stainless Classic in the above calibers would fill the largest Market Niche for Left Handers because it would serve a dual purpose for hunters wanting an extreme weather rifle to hunt both Alaska\Canada AND Africa.

Thanks George and Winchester.

BTW, I have a few buddies that would purchase a similar rifle in LH too.

BTW, Sigarms only offers the Sauer 202 LH in 30-06- as per their website.

Maybe the first priority Winchester should face is getting the quality back up again (like bolts that really function and action bridges that line up properly). Once that is accomplished, then I would consider suggesting left hand rifles that I would be interested in purchasing.

George,

Thanks for taking charge on this.

I'd like a .375 RUM, a .416 Remington, and a .458 Lott.

If they made all three, I'd buy two for sure and probably all three.

I'd also like to see them make LH actions available like Remington, CZ, & Ruger do.

Ken, there may be a QC problem since their factory move, but I think they address it with superb customer service.

I would buy one for my son in either 416 RemMag or 458 Lott. Stainless/Synthetic would be nice. -MN

My choices would be stainless steel in .375 H&H (just what I need, another one), .416 Rem, and a .458 Lott. Have several grandchildren who are left-handed also. They love to shoot grandpa's guns...especially the big ones with light cast bullet loads.

I'd buy a stainless left-handed M70 Classic in 458 Lott or 470 Capstick.

Thanks George.

Much more selection in Europe

George,

Some of the choices expressed so far would require an "action stretcher", or perhaps the requestors actually want USRAC to develop a true magnum action -- in left hand no less.

Yeah, if you want PUSH-feed.

I'd would be happy with the selection they offered the right handers. Might be a good start.

Exactly, which I don't. That is why Winchester should come out with a Mod 70 CRF in LH- Stainless, Synthetic. I would buy them up way before even considering a European Push Feed

George,

How about posting this at some other sites. We need a lot more interest then what's appearing here.

GeorgeS,

Even being optimistic with 30 or so wants, at a grand each, Winchester ain't gonna be interested.
We need more "wants"!

How do we get more lefties interested?

George, what's next?

Still would like to see some left handed, factory, biggies from Win.
