Caliber choices for two custom DGRs
This is not written in stone but I am leaning heavily towards the 375 H&H and 404 Jeffery, at this point...

Some rational....I can build these on the same action, weight of finished rifles reasonable, both are classics, recoil is manageable,...........

So let me hear your thoughts, objections, or just hurle rocks and stones Smiler, if you wish...

Thanks!!!

Jim: Given the fac the 404 is not that out of the mainstream (it's commercially loaded), and you are staying within the realm of the classics without crossing the line into the ridiculous (318, 333, etc.), those are a neat pair of calibers. With today's modern components, at least you can get the Jeffery to 2300 fps or so.

As to the douche-bag little smily face with the rolling eyeballs of our resident "komrad", if it was good enough for Elgin Gates and CL McElroy, the 300 Weatherby is good for me. Oh but wait, those two gents were "capitalist pigs" and thus ANYTHING they use is eschewed by the "commie-sar!" jorge

I would go for:
.333 Jeffery and .404 Jeffery

If you find the .333 Jeffery to common consider a 9,3x63
