Is the load too hot ?
I will take the scope of so I won't get scoped like in the movie clip christer/CChunter posted

I have shot many 2400 fps/730 m/sec shots with my rifle this is the first handloaded.

ASS_CLOWNAndre,
Good luck, and I assume you meant 2380 fps (not m/sec).
I haven't used the Vit. powders, but it would seem that your load of 113 grains may be a tad HOT, at least in my experience with the powders Vit. says are equivalent to N140, then again I was using the 570 grain pills, so???
Are you going to chronograph these loads? I strongly recommend you do, afterall I want to know what their actual performance is, not the often mythical performance published in books.

jeffeossoAndre,
he's just giving you trouble on the recoil level of the 500....
and he's right... until you build up OVER A LONG TIME a decent resistence, 5 shots should be the max

I have no chrono

But will have soon
The loads are not from a book but from a AR member Nobert Hansen, who also have a .500 Jeffery rifle.

You have ? shot this rifle before i take it
my big stuff i lay acrossed the hood of the truck on a pad
and for me ( at the time ) 15 shot's was max before i started turning back and blue. No matter how far i leaned into it no matter how well i held it .It was just a matter of not shooting it more then 5 to 10 time or wind up being brused.
No matter how many coat's i put on no matter how many bean bags i stuck between my shoulder and the recoil pad
The old girl was just going to kick me ..
Another question if i may ?
what other slug's / Bullet's did you get for your 500
weight wise
Standing bench across the bonnet is defintely the way to go for the bigger rifles......bugger sitting down with them
