What is the rate of twist for it jeff? You know... effective round ball rifles realy start with .69 cal IMO. Its ashame more BP rifles are not in 69 72 8bore and 4 bores.

my youngest son was there... for those who know me, he's 2/3 my size.... barely 5'10 and 175#... he loves shooting it too!! this one will hold me till EAA get's it together.

will experient with real/lyman with triple 7,,,, looking for 1600.
triple 7 was TEN PERCENT of the cleaning/dirty/nasty.... smoke was light.. not sulphery (no sulpher)
from 843 to 1420, poi raised 10" of point of aim.

My 13yo son likes my Knight Mk-85 in 54 cal. It's surprizingly light and recoil is a pleasant push even with 110gn Pyrodex P and a 540gn Black Belt. Tried to chrono, but too much smoke.
