Cooper Mod 58 dangerous game rifle
Just wondering if anyone here happened to go to The SHOT show. If so did you see the Cooper Mod 58 dangerous game rifle? I understand it is a CRF action available in calibres up to .505 Gibbs. I'm interested to hear any reviews.

Also I see that Mark Basner's "Legendary Arms Works" is also making a new CRF dangerous game rifle. It seems like the selection of big bore factory rifles is continuing to grow.

It's not the caliber of the rifle that matters - It's the caliber of the man behind it.

Gale Johnson
We handled one at the Michigun booth at the dsc show, it was in 416 rigby, had recoil suppressor and iron sights beautiful gun, he explained the single extractor can be closed easily over a round dropped in, sounds like they put a lot of thought into its release

I was with Gale at the DSC show and was immediately drawn to the 58 in 416 Rigby. It has a modified Sako extractor and shares the best of both worlds with CRF & PF. Like all Cooper rifles it is a quality piece that has looks to spare. It was on the heavy side for me. However at that weight and stock dimensions it should be pure joy to shoot. I'm looking to order one with a longer, slimmer barrel contour.
Seems worthy of serious consideration by anyone in the market for a DGR.
