Could anyone give me the procedure for importing a double rifle from South Africa into the Toronto area? Any reputable dealer in the area would be appreciated as well. Thank you in advance for your help. I'm attempting to help a friend originally from SA to get his double into Canada.

South Africa now has some UN mandated firearms import/export laws that can tale months to cut through. Canada has also signed the same UN treaty under a previous Liberal party government.

The treaty was supposed to come in effect a couple of years ago in Canada, but the current Conservative government has refused to implement it.
