Dieseltrucker375 Ruger w/ 250 TTSX Pet Loads
I have looked at Barnes reloading manual (#4?) and they did not publish a reload for the .375 Ruger with the 250 TTSX. I have a lefty Ruger Alaskan, and would like to hear anyones pet loads for this combination.
Also, this is one of my first venture in reloading big bores. Do I need to crimp the bullet or will the sizing of the case be sufficient to hold the bullet in place under recoil?
I contacted Barnes regarding the 250 TTSX for my 375H&H for the same reason.
Their response was it was the same as the 250TSX data.

John GaltYou sir, will need a heavy crimp to keep the bullet in place. In my experience, the Lee Factory Crimp Die works wonders on the big bores and eliminates the chance for crushing/wrinkling the case due to over-crimping in your seating die.
I called Barnes on this bullet for loading in the .375H&H and they said to split the difference between the 235 grain TSX and the 270 grain TSX. I really find it odd they've had these bullets available for so long but still do not have load data for it published.

BCSteveBumped back up. I'm looking for some load suggestions as well. Got some loaded with some H4350 and RL15 right now but I haven't had a chance to go to the range yet.
72.2gr of Varget will match the Leupold B&C reticle (set on the small triangle) out to 500yds.

416TanzanI hope to do some load testing for a 375 Ruger in June. Any advice is appreciated, too.
