Big Bore BASA Shoot Feb
Just wanted to post some photos of our Big Bore associattion shoot here in South Africa of yesterday.

I took my son along who is 6 years old for the first time and he shot with a .22 thanks to Mr Palos not on the course and then his 6.5x58 Portuguese which he received as a gift. 2 shots only.

He had a ball of a time and made good friends with Stephen Palo's son also here on AR.

I used my 375 H&H with 300 gr bullets open sights and shot a score of 11 out of 18 which doesnt sound to good but the last range no.4 you had to hit the plainsgame heart shot only so although all of the plainsgame died it wasnt heart shots LOL. And you shoot against time and distractions you have to read the rules very carefully as they will put out other targets but if you shoot them it counts 0 since you were not suppose to shoot them.

Other pictures are of my friend Adriaan using my 375 as well.

All in all we had a whale of a time and my son is hooked even though the 6.5 did come back on his nose a bit on the second shot hilbily

I always try to use enough gun but then sometimes a brainshot works just as good.

I´m allways amazed, with our shooting ranges in other parts of the world.
We have so many differnet rules for operating a shooting range. Frowner Every 3 years you need a new permit, you get new rules, etc.
Young boys and girls under 16 years is it forbidden to shoot real guns. With 16 years only .22 and with only 18 years you can shoot everything. Roll Eyes
I´m collect every pic I found in the www about shooting ranges, to save it for the future. That I can show it others, what´s possible at this planet.
