steve505505 gibbs brass available at MAST
just found on MAST (BELL brass) website:
code:
505 Gibbs 20/Box $76.50
100 Bulk $393.50
It is good to see companies like BELL and Horneber supporting these wonderful, old calibers. I only wish I had not bought so much Bertram. Oh well, guess use for whistles.

NickuduSteve,
It pays to bring along some Bertrams to the range to pass out to the cartridge collectors who are bound to request a casing, once they spot what your shooting.

MingbogoIt's about time for them to make some 505 Gibbs cases available. They made a run of 408 CheyTac brass a few years back so it would be natural to make more similar stuff since the tooling is already there. I got some 408 CheyTac cases and they look to be well made just as good as the 505 cases I have from Horneber in Germany. Now they need to find a way to bring the price down a little bit

. Thanks.

470 MbogoMast brass is awesome. I've used the 416 Rigby cylindrical for my 470 Mbogo brass and I've never worn one out. Some of these brass have been loaded 12 to 14 times and are still like new. I can't see why their 505 brass would be any different. This is just one more benefit with moderate to low pressure cartridges.
Take care,
470 Mbogo

MingbogoHere are some pictures of 408 Chey Tac cases made by BELL along with the 505 Gibbs made by Horneber. Enjoy!

The 408 Chey Tac is a little shorter (around .125") than the 505 Gibbs apparently. Thanks.
