Rather strange looking. They deffinately look like high velocity solids. In what application were you interested. The reason for the question is that Barnes makes btsp. solids.

500grains

I have not used them, but the "shockwave inducing grooves" is B.S.

With all the Zinc in them they are light while having fairly normal dimensions. I thought the 200 grainers from a 378 might be interesting Big Grin and of course the 250 grainers from a 460 Big Grin

Accurate- but no more so than speer 270grns in my 9,3. Designed for meat hunters apparently. Tried one on a wildebesst. Gone back to Speer for plainsgame.

Impala bullets are turning 180° or tumbling as any long spitzer is doing after about 5 to 15 cm travel in game. For appropriate game size it is effective in wounding.
The alloy is standard brass for fixtures etc. Very unusual for bullets, no experience at hand what it is doing in barrels.
