Stock Manufacturer for Rem 700 "Big Game"
I had a Rem 700 in .416 Remington Mag that I believe was marketed as their "Big Game" model. It had a 22" matte finish barrel, open sights and a decent synthetic stock. I am thinking it was either an HS precision or B&C.

Can anyone confirm who made the stock on these rifles?

I have an action being blueprinted right now and one of the options I am considering is a .358 NM. I wouldn't mind duplicating the feel of that factory remington configuration.

Thanks

Looks like an HS Precision if it looks similar to this one

Make sure you put a 24" barrel on yours. It WON'T need a muzzle brake.

Go with a heavy sporter contour (.670 barrel diameter at 24").

Use a heavy hand when bedding with Devcon steel, or Devcon Titanium with a Marine Tex skim coat.

I.had to of those 416 big game rifles they are awesome. It totes very well and was accurate .I.sold one still have one .It was my favorite Alaska bear gun .It kicked less than my wood stocked 416 model 70 Winchester even.though it was way lighter .I guess the recoil wave dissipates through the stock or something. That is a very good stock .
