Oops! I crapped the Brady Bill!
im not sure the brady bill has anything to do with it, but gun laws in illinois SUCK! granted, im only 17, but i cant buy a gun, own a gun, or even shoot a gun at a range! did anyone else have a problem like this? what did you do about it? what are gun laws like in you state?

BTW, anyone fired the .454 taurus raging bull? ive been stashing away some money to get one on my 18th b-day, but a lot of folks tell me its got accuracy problems. with a thousand bucks, what do you guys say? im looking for a big bore revolver with some weight and size behind it. my friends dad has a magnum research BFR in 45/70 gov, now that thing was freakin huge, but i didnt care much for the design...

i shoot the 8 3/8 454 taurus and love it. I have about 1000 rounds through it and get 1/2 groups at 100 yds with a 4x leupold scope

21 only from a ffl holder 18 you can buy all the free marget guns you can find. In IL you would need your firearms owners card I am glad I live in a somewhat free state. But then I ve been over 18 a long time. I am sure my son is looking forward to turning 18 he as several hand guns waiting for him.

500grains
I prefer the Ruger over the Taurus Raging Bull. And I prefer the Freedom Arms ($1500) over either of the above.

But I also prefer the 480 Ruger cartridge over the 454 casull.

Social, sounds good! all 5 rounds consistently in the half inch? i was concerned cause ive heard complaints that shooting .454 cas with the 8" folks had to adjust a lot before getting results.

500grains, why .480 ruger? and why the freedom arms?
