Yale416 Rigby Rifle Photographs
Ladies and Gentlemen:
Does anyone have photographs of an authentic 416 Rigby Mauser actioned rifle?
I am interested in making a faithful copy of one, but chambered in 416 Ruger in a standard size 1898 Mauser action.
Thank you.
Sincerely,
Chris Bemis

congomikeGo to
www.schwandtclassicarms.com and click on the bolt rifle page. Near the bottom are some pics of a 416 Rigby Mauser that was made in 1925 and apparently, according to the website, still brand new, never used. Great pics. Especially look at the way they did the sling swivel that is mounted on the barrel. I found it very interesting.

gwhjackHere are some pictures of nice original 416 Rigby rifle.
http://www.pugsguns.com/findItem.action?id=1750If you want a new original looking rifle, Lon Paul is building them. I have seen the first one and it respects the original. I have one on order after seeing it!! I would stay with the 416 Rigby cailber to keep it original and as classic as possible.

YaleDear Congomike and gwhjack:
Thank you, those photographs are exactly what I am looking for. One 416 is on the Magnum Mauser action the other appears to be on an 1898 standard length.
Sincerely,
