Warne QD mounts will it work for a 42 recticle ?

Warne low QD mounts will it work for a 42 recticle ?

The action is a K98 Musgrave 375 H&H.

I don't exactly know what a 42 reticle is but would think the ring height would be determined by the objective bell dia and if the bolt handle clears the eyepiece. I don't understand how the reticle comes into the picture. At least thats the restrictions on the Warne mounts i have as it is on all others i use.

Sorry I must have asked the question wrong the front objecttive lens of 42 will that fit ?

if it doesn't have iron sights, no progblem.

It does have iron sights on but it's in front of the scope lens. Dropped off the rifle at a gunsmith yesterday and he will get everything sorted out and if needs be order the medium height mounts.

I am just very glad that I found a Mauser unaltered QD base tried everywhere.

warne on my 416 rem/ rem 700 were a POS
i use weaver no problems 10 yrs now

The only company who makes unlatered QD bases for Mausers are Warne as far as I know. So I don't have a lot of choice.
