Does anybody have a 380 grs in .423, and if so could you be kind enough to measure it from front of nose to the first cannelure, and also from front to stern?

My box of these bullets doesn't have a "round nose"...rather the copper jacket ends and the nose is flat...flush with the end of the copper jacket. A bit odd.

ALL forty cal and above have been changed to more of a protected point design. That cute little ball of soft lead was just too succeptable to magazine battering. This modification also shortened all the bullets so modified. 423-380 OAL is 1.385 and nose to front of first groove is .700

Now we have the complete history of the bullet length.

Here is what the back end of one looks like after impacting at about 2500 fps and breaking the off-side shoulder of a bull bison. Meat!:

Any chanse some of them can find their way across the pond, cause according to the NF importer overem there arnt any 423 diameter NF bullet.....
