I'm getting the photobucket poster to leave most of my posts alone. I am a member of imgur. BUT, when I copy the URL, and place it in the image box and click okay, all I get is a tiny little box that you have to click on just to get an image in a different box. Please help me over this last hurdle. Thank you

Try copying the link to the pic on Imgur .
Then type the following :
[img]
Then paste your image link
Then type
[/img]

1 - select size
2 - copy code
3 - paste into ar post

let's see how this works.

Hey experts is there a way to grab my pictures from Photobucket?
I keep trying and I can grab them one at a time but the pop ups and BS is slow and time consuming not to mention the frustration. I'd like to transfer them to Imgur

I have 480 photos in Photobucket I didn't realize when I put them there that they would hold my pictures hostage.
Should be a class action suit against them...

What I do is just set up a folder labeled "Photopucker" in my 'puter's documents folder,
then open up my Photobucket.com and open a folder there to view.
I open up a photo to view, then right click on it and "save as" to the Photopucker folder on my 'puter.

Once you start that, scroll through the Photobucket.com folder, one picture at a time, saving each one as you go.

I have been doing this tedious thing now and then for months.
Maybe before any payments to Photobucket.com are due again, I will have copied them all to my 'puter.
Then they go to Imgur.com as needed.

If there is another way, I am interested too.
But that is how this caveman does it.

Well I'm not trapped here but only sometimes it feels like it.
It is still an amazing state with a lot of great people and great mountains and natural wonders.
Trouble is the ruling party only occupies 20% or less of the state but pass the laws for the rest.
I'm still here fighting the good fight and hoping a sensible Governor gets voted in this fall...
