I own a BRNO 602 in .375. It has always shot 1.5 moa groups at 100 yds with open sights. Last week it started to shoot way over the target and when I tried again at 50 yds it only hit the very top of the target.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

your stock is warped, re inlet the gun....

Is it an easy job to do or should I get a gunsmith to do it?

In theory it is easy, in practice it is less easy.

If you have never bedded a rifle or worked with the bedding in the barrel channel of a bolt-action rifle and are in a hurry, perhaps you might want a gunsmith to do it for you. Otherwise, you can learn to do this work from one of the books around on stockwork and gunsmithing.

There is also a fair amount of instruction available on the Internet.

Safari_Hunter, I had the same problem with a 602 in 375. Your stock has cracked, either in the tang or inside. Have it bedded and bolted and it will go right back to POA.

Jeffeoso's 500 Jeffrey started doing the same thing last weekend, broken stock and I think a recoil lug came loose. You can see the writeup in gunsmithing, I think he titled it looking for a Tig welder in Houston.
