It's a fashion item that Victoria Beckham would never need because of her ultra-thin 23in waist. But for her husband David, she has ordered a £10,000 belt, which expands if you've had a little bit too much to eat.
Made by Royal gunmakers Purdey, the Calibre 8 features an ingenious buckle, which has 108 moving parts.

• Did you forget the hosepipe ban, David?
After a large meal at Beckingham Palace, the England star will be able to flip it over to ease his girth.
The buckle, made of white gold and titanium, runs on miniature ball-bearings. It allows the wearer to reduce the pressure on his stomach discreetly by exactly 35mm - the amount recommended by Savile Row tailors.
A friend of the Beckhams said last night: "Victoria was as gutted as everyone else by England being knocked out off the World Cup by Portugal - but not as much as David.
"He is pulling himself together now and she wanted to help cheer him up. The thing about this belt is that it's very ingenious and it will appeal to him and his mates - there's another England player who's getting one as well.
"It's not that David's a big eater and needs the buckle to ease his waist after lunch, but it is a great talking point." Only 88 of the belts are being made by Purdey.
Beckham, 31, is one of a string of stars who are lining up to buy one of them. Rock legend Eric Clapton, a lover of country pursuits, is one of 40 people who have already placed orders.
Others likely to want one are believed to include Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich and Madonna, who bought a brace of Purdey shotguns and a complete outfit of Purdey sporting clothes when she and her husband Guy Ritchie moved into Ashcombe, their £9million Wiltshire estate in 2001.
James Purdey & Sons was founded in 1814 and still makes bespoke guns for the Royal Family. A spokesman for the firm yesterday refused to confirm Mrs Beckham's order.
He said: "The belt is an extraordinary device but I cannot say anything about Purdey's clients."
I would say that says it all....If Beckhams wanted a 375ruger Im confident they would do him one.

FjoldAll that proves is that the people at Purdey's are whores.
That doesn't mean that they will work on something with Ruger in its name.
