Copper CountryCalifornia continues push to ban 50 cal rifles
--BREAKING NEWS--(from the 50 Cal Shooters Policy Institute, 30 May 2003)
CALIFORNIA ASSEMBLY CONTINUES TO PUSH RIFLE BAN
The California Assembly will vote within days on AB 50 which would ban an entire class of rifles in California and make it illegal to own even a single 50 caliber bullet! In this budget crisis, your politcians are wasting their time and your tax dollars by pushing more useless gun control. Contact your Assembly member and the Governor's office today before it's too late.

On another note I have been told the US has stopped all 50BMG exports.
At this stage those who already own one here are hoping it doesn't mean components as well as rifles.

Paul HI spent just shy of 30 years in CA, escaped 6 years ago, and haven't even been back to visit family.
I didn't realize how bad it was until I left and became an Alaskan.

Dago RedWell, I am stuck here for now, so I just phoned both my assembly member's office and my senator's office to let them know how I stand. I am hoping that there are more people calling that are against it than people calling to support it.
