GeorgeSConsidering the wide availability and low cost of RPGs, why would a terrorist or militia tie up thousands of dollars for a .50BMG rifle?

George
Geez George. Why let logic get in the way of politics?

500grainsNotice that the question was whether to pass a law to "ban
export of .50 caliber rifles to civilians". Export and civilian sales are 2 different issues.

<JOHAN> "Should The Senate Pass An Amendment Banning The Export Of .50 Caliber Rifles To Civilians?"Would this include sales of 500 A2, 500 Jeffery, 500 NE etc.?

I'm against all kinds of ban's

AtkinsonI don't want anyone selling 50 BMG sniper rifles to the Taliban, so the law should be clarified, something politicians have no concept of is clairification...

Ray,
We shouldn't be selling anything to the Taliban, other than an extended stay at a Club Gitmo.
